Als QA / Test Engineer bij Build Software neem jij de volledige kwaliteitsborging op je binnen een grootschalige modernisering van een legacy VB.NET‑applicatie naar een modulair Clean Architecture‑platform. Je bent de eigenaar van de teststrategie, testautomatisatie en kwaliteitscontrole — zowel backend, API als frontend — voor elke module die wordt gemigreerd.Je werkt nauw samen met de architect en developers, en zorgt ervoor dat regressies, inconsistenties en designfouten vroeg worden opgemerkt. Je bent een hands‑on senior die kwaliteit ziet als een integraal onderdeel van softwaredesign.

Some of your duties include:

Teststrategie definiëren voor Clean Architecture‑modules vanaf sprint één.
Automatische test suites bouwen en onderhouden.
WebUI‑flows testen, zowel standalone als geïntegreerd in de hoofdapplicatie.
Gedrag van legacy VB.NET‑schermen vergelijken met hun Clean Architecture‑equivalenten.
Testen van workflows in automation frameworks zoals n8n.
Zorgen voor volledige regressie‑, exploratie‑ en non‑functionele testcycli (performance, load).
Test suites integreren in CI/CD zodat regressies vóór release worden onderschept.
Ontwerp‑, data‑ en requirementissues vroeg signaleren.
Intensief samenwerken met architect en developers.

Your profile

At least 5 jaar ervaring met geautomatiseerde testautomatisatie (geen pure manual tester).
Experience with REST API‑testing (Postman, REST Assured, OpenAPI‑validatie).
Experience with UI/E2E‑automatisatie (Playwright, Selenium, Cypress).
Experience with .NET‑testtooling (xUnit/NUnit, EF Core/Dapper, SQL Server).
Experience with CI/CD‑integratie (Azure DevOps of vergelijkbaar).
In staat om een teststrategie from scratch te ontwerpen voor een systeem in actieve transitie.
Comfortabel in zowel backend als frontend.
