About the job
APK Group is looking for a fibre optic technician for projects with telecom operators in the Antwerp & Brussels region. You will be responsible for laying internal and external fibre optic networks. You will also measure fibre optic networks and install data networks.
Some of your duties include:
- Install of fibre-optic cables.
- Glass fibre weldingl: heat two ends and fuse seamlessly.
- Detection and repair of faults to the fibre network.
- Carrying out control measurements for top quality.
- Making the necessary connections on site.
Your profile
- You have experience with fibreglass welding.
- You have a strong sense of responsibility.
- Technical knowledge.
- VCA certificate or willing to obtain.
- Driving licence B is necessary.
