Als Finance Business Partner ben jij de financiële rechterhand van de COO en het aanspreekpunt voor de Business Unit Controller. Je neemt de volledige verantwoordelijkheid voor de financiële en administratieve opvolging van een segment binnen de Business Unit. Some of your duties include:
- Monthly financial planning, looking critically at reported figures from the various business units.
- Responsible for monthly reporting from various departments.
- Coaching role in finance for junior project managers, to guide them in reporting and net working capital management.
- Performing ad-hoc analyses and finding explanations for any discrepancies.
- Preparing the month-end closing for team leaders, including various audit work on reported versus invoiced amounts and adjusting processes where necessary.
- Management of various Power BI reports for team leaders, including communication with IT department for any report adjustments and initiating pricing changes.
- Critical review and monitoring to ensure reports are transferred from test environment to production without error.
- Financial point of contact for our clients regarding processes and reporting.
Your profile
- You have a master's degree in an economics subject, preferably TEW or commercial engineering with a specialisation in finance, or you have at least several years' experience in a finance function.
- You have strong analytical skills and are able to solve problems.
- Liefst enkele jaren ervaring in een gelijkaardige rol.
- You are bilingual; you can express yourself fluently in French and Dutch.
- Excellent social skills and ability to provide constructive feedback.
- You are able to work independently but also collaborate effectively and spar with colleagues.
