About the job
For our APK Drilling department, we are looking for a hands-on C(E) driver who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves. In this role, you will combine driving duties (approx. 30% of working hours) with actively assisting on site as a driller’s assistant (approx. 70% of working hours). You will support the drilling team with various drilling tasks whilst ensuring the safe and correct transport of materials and equipment.

Some of your duties include:
- The transportation of materials, equipment, and machinery to various drilling sites.
- Loading and unloading of goods using a crane or other aids.
- Actively participate on the construction site as Assistant border for various drilling activities.
- Assisting the drill master and crew with preparatory work, tidying up, and general duties.
- Minor maintenance on the truck, trailer and (drilling) equipment (visual inspection, cleaning).
- Work closely with the drilling supervisor, site manager, and other team members.
- Ensuring safe and efficient transport, respecting schedules, safety, and site rules.
Your profile
- In possession of Driving licence C(E) + valid code 95.
- In possession of a VCA-base (or willing to obtain it).
- You are flexible in your deployment and it goes without saying that to work on the construction site.
- You have an affinity for drilling works and infrastructure projects.
- Technical knowledge is a plus.
- You can work independently but are also a real team player.
- You don't have a 9-to-5 mentality.
