Build-Software is a growing SME active in software and consultancy. As an Accountant, you will be the administrative linchpin, ensuring smooth internal operations. You combine accuracy with organisational talent and support invoicing, financial administration, and internal processes. You will work closely with management, consultants, and external partners such as accountants, payroll services, and insurance agencies.
You will be the point of contact for administration, ensure structure, and take initiative where necessary.
Some of your duties include:
- Preparing and processing data for monthly and year-end closing (closing entries).
- Tracking and managing fixed assets.
- Assist with tax returns including preparation of VAT returns.
- Administrative follow-up of payroll processing through social secretariat.
- Preparation and follow-up of invoices.
- Checking contract details and price agreements.
- Processing and checking purchase invoices.
- Management of bank transactions and payments.
- General administrative support; mailbox/telephony management, follow-up on internal files and practical organisational support.
Your profile
- Several years of experience in an administrative and financial role.
- Knowledge of accounting and experience with an accounting package or administrative system.
- Fluent with digital tools (Office, Excel, online systems).
- Independent, accurate and responsible.
- Communicative and professional in contact with customers, partners and colleagues.
- Knowledge of Dutch required; French is a plus.
- Experience in an SME environment is an asset.
