About the job
For our Fiber to the Home project, we are looking for fibre optic welders to build internal and external fibre optic networks.This is very fine and precise work that requires a lot of thinking and concentration. You will work regionally but are also willing to work all over Belgium if necessary.
Some of your duties include:
- You will be responsible for installing and welding fibre-optic cables and data cables for telecommunications
- You will provide connections from the street to private homes
- You will also detect and repair faults on the fibre-optic network using the latest equipment
- You perform various control measurements
Your profile
- You have a strong background in electricity/electronics
- You preferably have experience of welding fibreglass
- You like working accurately
- You can work well independently and have a sense of responsibility
