About the job
As a Calculator at Verfaillie-Leroy, you play a key role in preparing, analysing and following up offers and tender dossiers. You will ensure correct cost price calculations, support purchasing decisions and provide valuable input for optimisations. Your accuracy and insight enable our teams to work more efficiently and make more informed choices.
Some of your duties include:
- Drafting and preparation of quotations.
- Perform technical calculations and cost calculations.
- Record, follow up and process approvals of submitted offers.
- Active monitoring of statistics around POs and ABS files.
- Requesting and comparing prices of materials.
- Provide input for procurement decisions and framework contracts.
- Support pricing and alternative implementation methods.
- Support site preparation (material reservations, start-up documents).
- Perform post-calculations and analyse differences with pre-calculations.
- Operational follow-up of order forms for sales signage.
- Detecting optimisation opportunities in processes and market operations.
- Contribute to a more efficient operation of the team.
Your profile
- You have a bachelor's degree or equivalent through experience.
- You love working with numbers and have good knowledge of Excel.
- You work accurately, results-oriented and independently.
- You can make decisions and maintain an overview, even under time pressure.
- You are a team player who communicates fluently.
- You have a good knowledge of Dutch; French is a plus.
- Curious and analytical minded.
- Reliable in follow-up and administration.
